As we focus on growing our business, our Regional Account Managers are responsible for traveling to their assigned regions, building relationships with customers, and meeting with the top manufacturers in the DoD industry.

Requirements

• 2-4 years prior military or government contracting experience
• 2+ years of experience with government programs, either in sales or development
• 2+ years experience in government contracts & procedures
• 2+ years of experience with MS Office
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Frequent travel required

Responsibilities

• Represent ADS across all territories assigned
• Research and develop business within assigned program office and related accounts
• Research and identify opportunities for business development upstream from current active accounts
• Identify program needs and objectives
• Identify initial purchases and priorities, manufacturers, product categories and technologies
• Identify preferred and/or optimal means of procurement
• Understand and articulate how contracts are fulfilled
• Serve as the lead for all large-scale solicitations
• Engage and establish long term sales and service solutions
• Analyze market trends, new requirements, new program inceptions
• Keep up to date on world events
• Gather intelligence
• Create new solutions in response to market changes
