We currently have an opportunity for an Controls Technician – Food Manufacturing - Weekends (Friday-Sunday) at our New Hope, MN pasta production facility. We are offering a salary of $36.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of controls, automation, or industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership or team lead experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and food manufacturing systems.
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Allen-Bradley PLC and FactoryTalk experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
  • Support automation systems across production, packaging, and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain PLC and HMI program backups and documentation.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
