About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our Boise, ID team. If you have a background in HVAC systems, electronics, and technical troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply. We have a strong preference for candidates with military experience. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC control and Building Automation Systems supporting commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, manufacturing sites, and data centers. You will also respond to service and warranty calls, providing front-line technical repair, and use diagnostic tools to resolve building inefficiencies and recommend system updates. Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, you will ensure high-quality service and clear communication.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry servicing electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
Proficiency with hand/power tools, electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters), and computer-based diagnostics.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of HVAC sequences and applications.

Nice To Haves

Vocational program or Associate degree or Military Training in a relevant field is preferred.
Military experience is highly preferred.
Military training in relevant technical fields is highly desired.
