About The Position

The Controls Technician I supports safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations through hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems. The role diagnoses and resolves control-related downtime, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and supports equipment startups, modifications, and reliability improvements. The technician works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Operations on continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, and compliance with electrical safety and controls standards. The position involves hands-on work on manufacturing lines and equipment, including interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and control documentation; supporting control panel, device, and field wiring installation or replacement; and documenting repairs and improvements.
