About The Position

Develop, implement and coordinate planning, estimating, and cost controls for power station construction projects. Develop and review project estimates and schedules. Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure projects proceed on schedule and within budget and provide status reports to management. Develop and review O & M and capital budgets and analyze monthly cost reports. Assist in training lower-level controls personnel. Implement, evaluate and monitor controls systems. Coordinate use of controls equipment and facilities. Conduct meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters. Act as lead controls discipline representative to major projects. Interface and coordinate with other corporate and station groups. Establish and implement cost and planning control policy and procedures for power station construction project.

Requirements

• 5-6+ years of relevant experience in directly related field to include:
• Strong knowledge of cost controls principles

• Responsible for managing monthly project forecasting and cost performance for a portfolio of construction projects across multiple nuclear power stations
• Collaborate within a cross-functional matrix team consisting of project managers, supply chain specialists, contract administrators, and invoice coordinators

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor and 5-6+ years of relevant experience in directly related field OR;
• Associate degree and 7-8+ years of experience in a directly related field (finance, cost controls, etc.) OR;
• HS Diploma and 9-10+ years of experience in a directly related field (finance, cost controls, etc.)
