Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years in Data center construction, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments preferred.
  • Strong experience with BMS / EPMS / controls systems
  • Strong experience with Physical security systems (Lenel, Genetec, etc.)
  • Strong experience with Structured cabling and network infrastructure
  • Strong experience with Data center IT/compute environments
  • Proven experience managing vendors and coordinating across multiple disciplines
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and system integration in mission-critical environments
  • Strong understanding of data center design standards and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Building Management Systems (BMS) / Controls
  • Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Physical Security Systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
  • Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Network infrastructure (structured cabling, fiber, switching)
  • Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Compute environments and white space readiness
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology systems during design and construction phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, general contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders
  • Review and validate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project and operational requirements
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors responsible for controls, security, and IT infrastructure installations
  • Oversee installation quality, integration, and system interoperability across all platforms
  • Drive commissioning activities, including testing, validation, and turnover documentation
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to system integration, schedule, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and client specifications
  • Support project schedules, budgets, and reporting for all scoped systems
