SB Energy is seeking an experienced Controls / Security / Network / Compute Lead to oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of critical technology systems for large-scale data center construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all low-voltage and intelligent systems are properly designed, integrated, and commissioned to meet performance, security, and operational requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience with: BMS / EPMS / controls systems
Strong experience with: Physical security systems (Lenel, Genetec, etc.)
Strong experience with: Structured cabling and network infrastructure
Strong experience with: Data center IT/compute environments
Proven experience managing vendors and coordinating across multiple disciplines
Familiarity with commissioning processes and system integration in mission-critical environments
Strong understanding of data center design standards and best practices

Nice To Haves

2+ years in Data center construction, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of: Building Management Systems (BMS) / Controls
Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of: Physical Security Systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of: Network infrastructure (structured cabling, fiber, switching)
Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of: Compute environments and white space readiness
Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology systems during design and construction phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, general contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders
Review and validate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project and operational requirements
Manage vendors and subcontractors responsible for controls, security, and IT infrastructure installations
Oversee installation quality, integration, and system interoperability across all platforms
Drive commissioning activities, including testing, validation, and turnover documentation
Identify and mitigate risks related to system integration, schedule, and performance
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and client specifications
Support project schedules, budgets, and reporting for all scoped systems
