Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years in Data center construction, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments preferred.
- Strong experience with BMS / EPMS / controls systems
- Strong experience with Physical security systems (Lenel, Genetec, etc.)
- Strong experience with Structured cabling and network infrastructure
- Strong experience with Data center IT/compute environments
- Proven experience managing vendors and coordinating across multiple disciplines
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and system integration in mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of data center design standards and best practices
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Building Management Systems (BMS) / Controls
- Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Physical Security Systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
- Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Network infrastructure (structured cabling, fiber, switching)
- Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of Compute environments and white space readiness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology systems during design and construction phases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, general contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders
- Review and validate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project and operational requirements
- Manage vendors and subcontractors responsible for controls, security, and IT infrastructure installations
- Oversee installation quality, integration, and system interoperability across all platforms
- Drive commissioning activities, including testing, validation, and turnover documentation
- Identify and mitigate risks related to system integration, schedule, and performance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and client specifications
- Support project schedules, budgets, and reporting for all scoped systems
