Controls Project Manager - Building Automation

About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controls Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading project teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals, including financial performance, and managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects from conceptualization through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BAS, excellent leadership and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Experience with control systems such as Automated Logic, Siemens Desigo, Distech Controls, or Tridium/Niagara
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, electrical systems, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning, and/or chillers
3–5 years of experience in energy management, building commissioning, and/or system diagnostics and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Lead project teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals, including financial performance
Manage BAS projects from conceptualization through completion
Identify and escalate project issues in a timely manner
Estimate and support the sale of BAS construction projects and change orders
Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
Coordinate materials, manpower, and schedules for assigned projects
Collaborate with internal teams and divisions to ensure project alignment and efficiency
Participate in sales meetings and assist with client engagement as needed
Facilitate and attend project meetings throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain active involvement in relevant professional and industry organizations
