About The Position
The Controls Integrator will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing control systems for custom-built automation machines and upgrades. This position plays a key role in delivering reliable, efficient, and high-performing equipment to our customers across a variety of industries.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation programming or machine controls.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and device communications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Robot programming and pneumatic/hydraulic experience are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials using AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Program PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, etc.) for automation systems.
- Integrate sensors, servo systems, and motion controls.
- Support installation, startup, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with machine operation manuals.
- Occasionally assist with panel fabrication or wiring.
