Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher with at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience in gas power controls
Program and project management experience, with high organizational skills
Proven thought leadership and experience driving improvements
Demonstrated global mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures
Ability to communicate and present effectively and clearly with management, peers, team members, and clients

Responsibilities

Own and communicate innovation process, templates, and guidelines
Drive innovation in power plant controls engineering workstreams, including idea gathering, management, decision criteria and forums, and project progress
Lead innovation steering committee to approve project milestones, prioritize projects, and allocate resources and funding
Incorporate rigorous risk-based project management to ensure improvements are made without disrupting current quality and delivery timelines
Lead innovation technology team to build automation and AI tools in support of engineering process change and productivity improvement projects
Monitor and track innovation projects, including investments and benefits
Report on innovation results and progress to company and customer executives
Support and present at governance meetings with company and customer executives to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment
