Our client is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team in York, PA. Though small in size (25 employees), they’ve been in business for over 100 years and partner with some of the world’s largest companies to deliver custom machinery solutions. This is a low-volume, precision-focused manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on work/life balance, typically maintaining an eight-hour workday. This role supports the design, build, and test of electrical systems for custom industrial machinery, with a focus on wiring control panels, interpreting schematics, and troubleshooting systems throughout assembly, testing, and startup. This is a newly created position as the company continues to invest in bringing key electrical and controls capabilities in-house, offering the opportunity to have a direct impact on how systems are built and supported moving forward. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, assembly, and service teams to ensure systems are built accurately and function as intended. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is naturally curious about how things operate, and is interested in building their experience in controls and automation over time. This role may also appeal to those in field service looking to reduce travel. With an average tenure of 10 years, along with excellent benefits and generous PTO, this company truly prioritizes its people.
