Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical and organizational integration of onshore and offshore turbine software teams, driving convergence of codebases, architectures, and development standards
  • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for software platform consolidation and harmonization across all turbine fleets
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders (Controls Platform and Instrumentation, System Integration, DevOps & Tools, Product Management, Quality) to align software strategy with broader product and business goals needed for new turbine designs or to optimize the running fleet.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for code reuse, modularity, and scalability across platforms to reduce complexity and accelerate time-to-market
  • Own end-to-end delivery of turbine application software for Haliade, Cypress, Sierra, and legacy fleets, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are met
  • Manage, forecast, and schedule team workload to meet both the overall software release schedule and the needs of the individual New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Manage software development across multiple control platforms (MarkVIe, Beckhoff, Bachmann, ECO), ensuring on-time delivery of the turbine application software Flightboard(s)
  • Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, tools, and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) to improve efficiency and quality
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and GE Vernova engineering practices
  • Lead, develop, and retain a combined team of software engineers and controlled title holders across onshore and offshore product lines
  • Build a unified team culture that leverages the strengths of both legacy organizations and fosters collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Conduct talent assessments, succession planning, and development planning for SPB1+ direct reports in alignment with GE Vernova talent processes
  • Create clear career pathways and growth opportunities for team members across the expanded scope
