About The Position

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing control systems and algorithms tailored to manufacturing processes. This role involves collaborating with other engineers and project managers to integrate control systems, conducting systems testing and debugging, maintaining documentation, and providing technical support and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or experience working in a related field
  • Strong Knowledge of control theory, PLC Programming, SCADA systems, and HMI technologies
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement control systems and algorithms tailored to manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet operational needs and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to integrate control systems with existing machinery and processes, optimizing performance and functionality.
  • Conduct systems testing and debugging to ensure reliability and safety of control systems, addressing any issues that arise during operation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of control systems, processes, and configurations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and facilitate future reference.
  • Provide training and technical support to other engineers and operators on the use and maintenance of controls systems.
  • Performs other related duties assigned.
