About The Position

The Controls Engineer will support the client with automation and commissioning of APCO designed and manufactured machines. This role is on-site and field-oriented, often within manufacturing facilities. The engineer will also support daily production activities with the machines to offer continuous improvements and implement improvements and fixes to existing software. Regular contact with the technical support team at the head office is required for support and updates.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or similar level of experience.
1-5 years’ experience in industrial automation.
Siemens software proficient: TIA Portal / Simatic Manager, SINAMICS Startdrive, Step7 Safety, WinCC.
Ability to read technical drawings (mechanical and electrical).
Strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and quality.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
US Work permit Holder

Nice To Haves

Mobile Equipment Operator Certification (ANSI 92.5 and 92.6).
