About The Position

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with an active Q Clearance to provide hands-on support for manufacturing equipment. This position will focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and control system issues. Experience with Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable. This is an immediate need, and candidates who are available to start quickly are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Active Q Clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial controls and manufacturing equipment.
Experience with PLC-based control systems.
Knowledge of HMIs, instrumentation, sensors, motor controls, and industrial communications.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose control system and manufacturing equipment issues.
Provide hands-on technical support to identify and resolve equipment failures.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and related equipment.
Review and modify PLC programming and control logic as needed.
Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Review electrical and controls drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Work with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations personnel to resolve equipment issues.
Document system modifications and technical resolutions.
