About The Position

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team. This role involves creating, designing, and managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and their architecture. You will be responsible for developing sequences of operations, ordering parts, coordinating deliveries, and creating Bills of Materials. The position requires a fundamental understanding of programming and basic troubleshooting of existing programs. You will also visit customer sites for job walks, lead the development of detailed automation data and designs, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of controls designs. Light programming experience with Tridium front ends is beneficial, and you will provide support to controls programmers, technicians, and salespeople.

Requirements

Prior experience as Applications Engineer or similar position
Experience with AutoCAD or BlueBeam
Fundamental understanding of programming or basic troubleshooting of existing programs
Light programming experience with Tridium front ends

Responsibilities

Create, design, and manage BAS systems and architecture using AutoCAD or BlueBeam
Develop Sequence of Operations for each project
Order parts for technicians and coordinate delivery with multiple vendors
Create of Bill of Materials
Fundamental understanding of programming or basic troubleshooting of existing programs
Visit customer sites to perform job walks
Lead and develop detailed automation data and designs and prepare them for submittals
Ensure controls designs for the project are delivered on time and efficiently
Light programming experience with Tridium front ends
Help and support controls programmers, Controls Techs, and Salespeople
