Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in process control and automation
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems
  • Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
  • Ability to address on-call requests as needed

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware

Responsibilities

  • Provide automation support and troubleshooting where needed
  • Assist in the implementation of change controls for process improvements and bug fixes as needed
  • Building good relationships with customers
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems
  • Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation
  • Investigating and solving complex problems
  • Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors
  • Addressing on-call requests as needed
  • Being a self-starter who can work both independently and in team-based project environments
  • Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistance
