  • Direct experience with Schneider Electric BMS systems in a commissioning, startup, integration, controls engineering, or operations support capacity.
  • Previous data center experience, with working knowledge of mission critical cooling, environmental monitoring, control system interfaces, and alarm management.
  • Experience developing or reviewing commissioning procedures, functional test scripts, checksheets, or startup documentation.
  • Ability to interpret control schematics, sequence narratives, points lists, network diagrams, and integrated system interfaces.
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role during planning and mobilization and transition to site support in Temple, Texas during execution.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting integrated systems testing and staged failure testing in mission critical environments.
  • Familiarity with LEED requirements and ASHRAE guidance relevant to data center commissioning and operational performance.
  • Understanding of applicable national, state, and local regulatory expectations relevant to commissioning and startup activities in Texas.
  • Experience with completions systems, turnover workflows, and handover readiness processes.
  • Working knowledge of BMS and related interfaces with EPMS, mechanical systems, and critical electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine commissioning scripts, test procedures, checksheets, and functional test documentation for controls and automation systems.
  • Review control drawings, points lists, network architecture, sequences of operation, alarms, trends, and integration narratives for completeness and commissionability.
  • Provide technical oversight of Schneider Electric BMS systems, including points mapping, graphics review, alarm strategy, trend setup, sequence validation, and interface readiness.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, TAB, OEM, construction, and owner stakeholders to align controls-related commissioning activities with system readiness and project priorities.
  • Support facility systemization and assist with checksheet assignment in the completions system where controls scope interfaces with system turnover and commissioning readiness.
  • Assist in development of the commissioning execution plan and controls commissioning strategy for startup, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
  • Participate in system walkdowns during execution to verify installation readiness, field configuration, device status, labeling, and interface completeness.
  • Support testing of control sequences, redundancy logic, failure modes, alarm response, interlocks, and integrated operating scenarios across critical facility systems.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve controls deficiencies, integration gaps, and sequence issues identified during commissioning and startup.
  • Support field execution and help manage controls-related commissioning activities at site through turnover, startup, and handover phases.
