About The Position

At DCS, we don't just design automation systems—we bring them to life. As a Controls Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a critical role in transforming engineered solutions into fully operational systems at customer sites. You'll partner with Controls Engineers, Project Managers, Site Managers, Mechanical Engineers, Software teams, customers, and field technicians to commission complex material handling and warehouse automation systems that power some of the world's most recognizable brands. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, thrives in fast-paced project environments, and wants to see their work come to life in the field. Every project presents new challenges, technologies, and opportunities to build expertise in industrial automation. This role is remote-based, allowing you to establish your home office anywhere within the continental United States. From there, you'll travel up to 75% to customer sites throughout the commissioning, startup, testing, and go-live phases of projects. If you enjoy variety, working directly with customers, and seeing the impact of your work firsthand, this role offers the opportunity to support cutting-edge automation installations across North America.
