About The Position

Oversee all company accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and balance sheet management. Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with US GAAP. Lead the preparation, analysis, and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning for the organization and individual departments. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to leadership. Coordinate federal, state, and local tax filings; manage relationships with external tax advisors; and prepare income tax forecasts as needed. Partner with external auditors to coordinate annual financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Monitor, assess, and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity. Drive process improvements and system enhancements to streamline accounting workflows and support company growth. Provide financial insight and recommendations to leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making. Lead, coach, and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development, accountability, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Valid driver's license
