Why We Like This Company Trajectory: The PE-backed company recently hired an industry proven CEO to lead the company through a 3 to 5 year growth window (organic + M&A) Shape the Accounting Function: The accounting function is healthy, but not professionalized. This is an opportunity to add your architecture and take the team + processes to the next level. M&A + Executive Finance Exposure: Work directly for the CFO with heavy exposure and involvement to strategic growth work. The role is absolute ownership of accounting operations, but the work will extend into experiences that accelerate career trajectory. This hire will bring a track record of process improvement. Initiative & Bias for Action - Given complete ownership of the accounting function, this hire will need to drive action. Technical Accounting & Detail Orientation - To support company scale, the accounting function will need to operate with rigor & consistency. This leader will need to ensure proper application of GAAP, and a history of technical accounting work is required.

Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of accounting operations, ensuring the final deliverablesâfinancial packages, month-end close, team structure, and talent developmentâare top-notch and reliable.
- Build Scalable Accounting Infrastructure - Architect and implement robust systems, controls, and processes that guarantee consistent, accurate financial reporting across all entities.
- Lead Timely & Accurate Month-End Close - Manage and oversee the close process for all periods, ensuring reporting is precise, punctual, and compliant. Deliver actionable financial reporting packages that drive decision-making.
- Standardize Systems and Drive Post-Acquisition Integration - Spearhead integrations from legacy platforms to NetSuite, standardizing accounting processes and controls. Project manage these integrations to maintain accuracy and momentum for efficient onboarding.
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team - Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier accounting talent while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Partner Strategically with CFO and Leadership - Act as a key thought partner in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
