Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Business Administration or Finance
8-10+ years’ accounting experience in financial services industry and overall understanding of financial products
Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with a strong track record of executing against goals
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work in a team environment
Understanding of internal controls and ability to perform assessments and issue resolution
Experience with legal entity financial reporting & accounting
Familiar with Regulatory issues impacting the Financial Services Industry

Responsibilities

Legal entity governance – financial statements/budgets/audit support/board reporting, including capital planning, etc.
Audit support includes EY/corporate/regulatory.
Support the IS BU controller on specific projects. This can include process design improvements, automation and standardization of these processes, globally (15%)
Drive uplifting of documentation of process controls and procedures with the IS BU Controller team to better define roles/responsibilities, timelines and deliverables.
Support the Controllers goal of 1x1x4 (15%)
IS governance oversight including working with Controller COE on Balance Sheet substantiation and Assurance metrics as well as participate in Risk Governance forums and Committees for the IS business.
Lead discussions with LFO’s across all BU balance sheets and assurance metrics (10%)
Actively lead the quarterly A/R reserve process and other impairment related analysis as required (goodwill/intangibles etc.) across all BU’s in IS.
Primary responsibility for ICAMS responses and Archer initiatives to drive consistency across our BU’s (10%)
