Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Business Administration or Finance
  • 8-10+ years’ accounting experience in financial services industry and overall understanding of financial products
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with a strong track record of executing against goals
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Understanding of internal controls and ability to perform assessments and issue resolution
  • Experience with legal entity financial reporting & accounting
  • Familiar with Regulatory issues impacting the Financial Services Industry

Responsibilities

  • Legal entity governance – financial statements/budgets/audit support/board reporting, including capital planning, etc.
  • Audit support includes EY/corporate/regulatory.
  • Support the IS BU controller on specific projects. This can include process design improvements, automation and standardization of these processes, globally (15%)
  • Drive uplifting of documentation of process controls and procedures with the IS BU Controller team to better define roles/responsibilities, timelines and deliverables.
  • Support the Controllers goal of 1x1x4 (15%)
  • IS governance oversight including working with Controller COE on Balance Sheet substantiation and Assurance metrics as well as participate in Risk Governance forums and Committees for the IS business.
  • Lead discussions with LFO’s across all BU balance sheets and assurance metrics (10%)
  • Actively lead the quarterly A/R reserve process and other impairment related analysis as required (goodwill/intangibles etc.) across all BU’s in IS.
  • Primary responsibility for ICAMS responses and Archer initiatives to drive consistency across our BU’s (10%)
