About The Position

Kasheesh is the first platform to let you split any online purchase across multiple debit and credit cards—without needing a loan or a new line of credit. They help people access and manage their money in a way that fits how they live, earn, and spend today, aiming to give consumers more control and flexibility over how they fund everyday purchases. Kasheesh is a venture-backed team of fintech operators, builders, and designers. As Controller, you will own the finance function at Kasheesh, covering everything from month-end closes and expense reimbursements to financial modeling and investor reporting. This is the first finance hire, requiring comfort in building processes and working independently. The role is ideal for someone with experience in fintech or payments and a desire to have a meaningful impact at an early-stage startup. The Controller will be responsible for financial operations, compliance, and planning, owning the books, building and managing processes, and interacting with partners on finance-related matters. You will also be key in understanding the company's financial health and runway, and supporting financial reporting for investor communications.
