We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Controller to join our team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, managerial finance, business administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting positions, including 3+ years of experience managing accounting staff
- In-depth experience and knowledge of accounting principles/theories (GAAP, FASB)
- Demonstrated experience managing internal payroll operations
- High Proficiency with MS Office and job costing technologies
- Knowledge and experience with integrated accounting systems
Responsibilities
- Directing the preparation of financial statements and the financial analysis of the organization
- Managing compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, internal controls and tax filings
- Creating and analyzing reports to identify opportunities to improve financial results or address potential risk to the organization
- Developing systems and processes to improve division and company results
- Leading, coaching and developing the accounting team members
- Serving as a collaborative and strategic member of the leadership team
- Other duties as assigned
