About The Position
A facility near Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Controller to join its accounting team. This is a full-time, permanent position scheduled Monday through Friday. The Controller will oversee the accounting team and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory documentation. The role supports compliance with healthcare and Medicare requirements and works with hospital leadership on operational improvement initiatives, strategic collaboration, governance, and partnership activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
- At least 5 years of hospital accounting experience.
- Experience with labor management, RE, contract negotiation, and utilization review.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting team, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and payroll.
- Prepare and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory documentation.
- Support compliance with healthcare and Medicare requirements.
- Support hospital leadership through operational improvement initiatives and strategic collaboration.
- Participate in governance and partnership activities.
