Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Must be willing to work a twelve (12 hour) rotating shift as part of a twenty-four/seven (24/7) Pipeline Control Operation. This will require working nights, weekends, and holidays but may begin with a more typical eight (8)-hour schedule during the training period.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an individual contributor, or in a team environment, while supporting teams for a common goal and/or solution.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer proficiency and strong communication skills required in order to provide daily and periodic reports.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must live in or plan to relocate to central Wyoming.

Responsibilities

  • Recording hourly over and shorts and daily reports
  • Monitoring flows, pressures, temperatures, and tank levels for pipeline pump stations.
  • Remotely start and stop pumps and control valves to maintain system demand and pressure.
  • Diagnosing potential problems, responding to abnormal conditions, and any alarm conditions that may exist.
  • Requires the ability to interface successfully with schedulers regarding pumping orders and field personnel as needed to execute those orders and mitigate any abnormal or alarm conditions as necessary.
  • Successfully pass Control Center Operator Qualifications to complete training.
