About The Position
This position is responsible for providing accounting support to the Carthage, MS production plant and Tyson Poultry corporate accounting departments. Responsibilities include performing analyses on product costing, product yields, weekly and monthly closing duties, capital project requests, annual budgeting, and various special projects. This position will work closely with management in operations and manage a team of accounting administrators.
Requirements
- Accredited Bachelor's degree required
- Accounting/Finance major preferred (12 hours minimum Accounting required)
- 4 plus years supervisory experience
- Poultry manufacturing knowledge or related experience a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database systems
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Managerial, analytical and data management skills

- Preferred experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enable data-driven decision support
