About The Position
This position is responsible for accounting support to the production plants and Tyson Poultry corporate accounting departments. Responsibilities include performing analyses on product costing, product yields, pricing models, gross margins, and special projects. This position will work closely with management in operations, sales, pricing, marketing, packaging and labeling, quality assurance, plant accounting, and corporate accounting.
Requirements
- Accredited Bachelor's degree required.
- Accounting or Finance major preferred.
- 12 hours minimum Accounting required.
- 4 plus years supervisory experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL and data base systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
- Analytical and data management skills are essential.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Poultry product knowledge or related experience a plus.
- Experience with Tyson Poultry yield systems is beneficial.
