Requirements

  • Prior experience control wiring.
  • Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition.
  • Able to work over-time as needed.
  • Ability to interpret complicated drawings, schematics, specifications, and use of high school mathematics.
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend common vocabulary.
  • Must be able to calculate basic math, including fractions, decimals and percentages.
  • Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington MO.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available for these positions.
  • External candidates must complete: Application, interview, drug screen and background check.
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Control Wiring.
  • Read, understand and interpret BOM, blueprints, drawings, schematics and specifications.
  • Mechanical assembly of control box.
  • Control box wiring including relays, terminal boards, electronic components, etc.
  • Verification and mounting of control box.
  • Conduit planning and installations.
  • Installation of external wiring from control box terminals to CT's, fans, oil gauge alarms, lights, breakers, relays and to other auxiliary devices.
  • Installation includes externals including surge arrestors, gauges, grounding, etc.
  • Verify operation of all controls using ohmmeter.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring checks.
  • Perform function checks.
