About The Position

The Control Systems Lead is a senior technical leader responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of connectivity system solutions within Power & Energy (P&E). This role leads through technical expertise and influence, driving cross-functional alignment to deliver robust, validated, and scalable connectivity capabilities. The position ensures clarity in execution across requirements, integration, validation, and release cycles using structured delivery frameworks and governance practices.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in control systems, embedded systems, telematics, or connectivity engineering
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical delivery efforts
  • Strong experience in requirements definition, system integration, and validation
  • Experience in connectivity system integration for Power & Energy, Machine or similar applications
  • Experience with telematics platforms, remote services, or system-level architecture
  • Familiarity with next-generation connectivity technologies and system evolution initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own system-level definition and integration across onboard and enterprise connectivity systems.
  • Translate business and customer requirements into system-level designs and technical direction.
  • Align multiple teams on clear execution expectations across scope, timeline, and ownership.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface between onboard teams, connectivity platforms, and product stakeholders.
  • Own delivery outcomes from requirements through validation and release readiness.
  • Drive validation planning and execution for firmware and connectivity feature releases.
  • Ensure readiness for release gates and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead complex technical issue investigations and root cause analysis for connectivity and telematics systems.
  • Drive or support key connectivity initiatives such as: Enterprise cloud UI (Vision Link) adoption in P&E, Data center connectivity solutions, Next-generation telematics hardware technology adoption.
  • Establish and drive consistent workflows and execution frameworks across global teams.
  • Define prioritization, escalation, and accountability models.
  • Acts as system-level owner for assigned connectivity capabilities.
  • Accountable for delivery quality, release readiness, and system performance.
