Control Systems Engineer
About The Position
Contech Control Services, Inc. seeks a Control Systems Engineer in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for the design, specification, selection, and services related to control systems, including basic process control systems, safety systems, and communications. The engineer will plan, budget, organize, and control a significant segment of a typical automation project. This includes assisting with control philosophy and functional descriptions, and communicating progress to the project manager for client reports. The position holds responsibility for the quality of the control system portion of the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Responsibilities
- Design, specification, selection, and services relating to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, communications, etc.
- Plan, budget, organize and control an important segment of a typical automation project.
- Assist with control philosophy and/or functional descriptions.
- Communicate progress to project manager for inclusion into reports to client.
- Responsible for quality of the control system portion of the project.
