Control Systems Engineer I
About The Position
Precision Pumping Systems (PPS) is a local, family-owned manufacturing business established in 1972. To support its continued growth and meet production demands for its popular turn-key pump stations, PPS is seeking talented individuals to join its control systems engineering team. The Control Systems Engineer 1 is responsible for creating electrical documents, electrical schematics, and layouts for the product. This role also involves checking panel parts for submittals, maintaining a clean work area, and operating in a self-directed yet collaborative manner. The position adheres to standard work methods and emphasizes safe work practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Requirements
- Must be able to legally work in the US.
- Must be able to furnish a valid driver's license and provide a clean MVR.
- Applicant must be able to complete a criminal background screening before hire.
Nice To Haves
- Some travel is required for startups and/or technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Design and verify quotes, schematics, and panel layouts to meet customer specifications.
- Work closely with CAD Specialist, Service, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to meet customer requirements and continually improve as per company quality standards.
- Innovate and create new cutting-edge products for PPS.
- Initiate process improvement to improve processes, improve quality, and reduce cost.
- Cross-train and learn other functions as needed.
- Organize and keep their area clean.
