Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Candidates without their EIT will be called a Control Systems Designer and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of complex supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
  • Assist with selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment
  • Assist with development of biddable and technically accurate instrumentation and control system construction documents
  • Assist with the development of software applications for automation such as programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI)
  • Assist with system testing and commissioning activities
  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
  • Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
  • Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
  • Give direction to clerical and technical personnel
  • Perform other duties as needed
