About The Position

The Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Senior Engineer to join the Control System Validation organization. The qualified candidate will be responsible for: Jet engine test validation activities, including sub-system, full engine, and flight testing. Test plan development to ensure system level testing is covering the necessary requirements. Test results analysis to ensure the system is performing to the requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree
U.S. citizenship is required
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role
Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment
Outstanding cross discipline communication skills
Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design
