Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese.
  • High school diploma.
  • Advanced experience with OBS software.
  • Experience in television, film, or post-production settings.
  • Fundamental computer knowledge.

  • Experience in light editing and/or as an associate producer is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and quality control of all broadcasts, ensuring every event runs smoothly and at its best.
  • Maintain and own detailed tracking documents, keeping comprehensive records of all broadcast information.
  • Collaborate daily with producers to manage incoming requests and embrace change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Add all ASINs/SKU information to broadcasts and manage proxy access for influencers across all channels.
  • Diagnose issues in the Creator App, troubleshooting with the product team to solve challenges quickly.
  • Create and maintain SOPs to streamline daily operations and stay ahead of new developments.
  • Stay in close communication with your control room colleagues, including the director, and actively moderate live chats.
  • Manage rollout videos, track assets, and handle streaming encoders and applications such as Restream, AWS Elemental Media Live/Connect, CloudWatch, S3, EEG Falcon, and EEG Lexi.
  • Monitor livestreams to confirm proper audio, video, captions, lip sync, and stream stability, including closed captioning setup.
  • Build and prepare graphic assets, including full frame images and b-roll, to operate engaging livestream broadcasts.
  • Support the director with rundown timing and manage rundowns in Shoflo/Airtable.
  • Stay informed about Amazon Live trends, features, and best practices to ensure broadcasts are effective and fresh.
  • Set up Expression before each stream, empowering the director with remote control capabilities.
  • Document remote sets with screen grabs for Airtable and deliver mission-critical data to the production crew.
  • Make informed decisions about remote stream content placement while overseeing trafficking and camera movements.
  • Partner with the TD/director and engineering team to onboard and manage remote guests.
  • Guide remote talent and guests, ensuring they are fully prepared for seamless production.
  • Maintain open communication lines between control room, remote talent, and crew, working closely with producers and talent teams.
  • Operate the teleprompter during in-studio shows and manage product pages for talent.
  • Collaborate with talent to optimize font sizing and streamline show flow.
  • Build and manipulate stunning graphics in Expression, including Welcome Slates for tours.
  • Work with the graphics department to implement changes and assign graphics to triggers as needed.
