About The Position
As a Control Room Operator, you will execute the approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures to assure that the facility meets its operational, environmental, and safety commitments while operating in a safe and environmentally efficient manner. Sign on bonus eligible!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year of holding the position
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation
- Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations
- Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications
- Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks
- Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action
- Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that supports Reworld’s safety and operational goals
