Control Room Operator, Mill
About The Position
This position samples, evaluates and analyzes processes for optimum tonnage through the mill. The operator is responsible for the start-up, safe operation and shutdown of mill equipment, including dryer, shakers, Remco crushers, Rotex screens, Bivitec, etc. The role also involves observing for broken or blinded screens, running Rotap sieve analysis, and ensuring the quality of work and safe operation of all tools and equipment. Good housekeeping and safety inspection of the work area are also key responsibilities. The position may require performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to read and write legibly/enter data into Google sheets
- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of crushing/screening processes
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit)
