The Control Equipment Technician (CET) is responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance on the controls, electrical & mechanical systems on the equipment. The CET is responsible for responding to equipment breakdowns and/or trouble calls from the manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will have good problem-solving skills, knowledge and experience with mechanical, electrical, and controls maintenance of industrial processes. Primary job functions include reactive/preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance of production and auxiliary equipment. Additionally, the CET will be assigned to project work as determined by area engineers via work orders from SAP. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to PLCs, drives, switchgear, breakers, contactors, and all mechanical aspects. Will on occasion be responsible for boilers, chiller, cooling tower operations when assistance is needed.
