About The Position

Requirements
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics
- Hands-on experience diagnosing servo and stepper motion controls and controllers
- Strong foundation in electrical and controls design, with knowledge of NFPA standards
- Experience in troubleshooting automated assembly equipment using conventional diagnostic tools
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with custom assembly equipment design and development
- Participation in risk assessment and quality assurance processes (DFMEA, PFMEA, CTQ)
- Familiarity with equipment validation and supplier qualification
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Diagnose and resolve machine stoppages, delivering accurate root cause analyses for manufacturing teams
- Review, develop, and implement process improvements to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting and equipment design
- Develop and communicate equipment specifications to vendors for both automated and manual equipment
- Participate in equipment quotes, design reviews, and work with project teams to deliver custom assembly solutions
- Actively contribute to DFMEA, PFMEA, machine risk assessments, and CTQ processes to ensure well-defined, documented specifications
- Participate in equipment specification, supplier selection, qualification, and validation activities
- Collaborate and coordinate with multiple functional groups within and outside operations
- Travel up to 10% domestically to manufacturing sites and supplier visits
