About The Position

The Contracts & Settlements Manager is responsible for processing un-ratified and ratified contracts created between the Company and customers. This role also coordinates and ensures the efficient management of the settlement process for each customer. The position involves extensive data entry, file management, and communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage the settlement process.
  • Compile and research information for settlement process and settlement reports.
  • Send settlement correspondences to homeowners.
  • Act as a liaison between Homeowners, Lenders, Appraisers, Sales, Production, and Title Companies.
  • Enter settlement information into company systems as required.
  • Fax, copy, mail, and file information related to the settlement process.
  • Maintain and organize settlement files.
  • Run settlement reports for different departmental uses.
  • Review deeds and settlement statements for accuracy prior to approval.
  • Perform data entry of all contracts, change orders, addendums, and color selections into the database.
  • Process cancelled contracts and lot transfers.
  • Copy and distribute contracts to homeowners and other departments.
  • Update contract, start, and permit information in the company system.
  • Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.
