About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent - Contracts (Level 3) to join the Wire Bundle Contracts team in the Standards Supply Chain organization in Everett, WA. This role involves overseeing and managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance. The agent will lead negotiations for pricing and contract terms, prepare and execute negotiation strategies, and interpret and enforce contract terms. Responsibilities include consulting with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues, leading supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions, and participating in supply chain process improvement teams to identify opportunities for integration into supplier contract strategies. The position plays a key role in ensuring the supply chain organization is efficient, effective, and aligned with overall company goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3-5 years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
  • 3-5 years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • Domestic and international travel as needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
