About The Position
The Contract Manager - Supply Chain is responsible and accountable for optimizing critical supply chain operational processes and systems. This role oversees $200M+ in supply and purchased services spend annually. The position assists with acute care facilities, supply chain teams, and multiple offsite location FED clinics, aligning and implementing the corporate Supply Chain strategy across areas of oversight. The role focuses on enhancing quality, service delivery, and cost performance through process improvement, collaboration with other departments, and effective management of daily operational metrics. Additionally, the Contract Manager will work with management, physicians, and vendors to educate and align procurement practices, ensure cost-effective operations through budget management, and identify methods for reducing expenditures. The position also involves managing resources and expenses within budgetary guidelines, providing accurate budget information, and ensuring processed and procedures align with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of supply chain management experience.
- Over ten years of experience in the field of acute care operations including surgical services, supply chain, logistics and pharmacy operations preferred.
- Service oriented, strategic leader with demonstrated quantitative, technical, and financial expertise.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Projects a positive attitude, demonstrated collaborative competencies, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to foster an environment of teamwork, build strong working relationships, and mentor direct reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities
- Optimizing critical supply chain operational processes and systems.
- Overseeing $200M+ in supply and purchased services spend on an annual basis.
- Assisting with acute care facilities, supply chain teams, and multiple offsite location FED clinics.
- Aligning and implementing the corporate Supply Chain strategy across areas of oversight.
- Enhancing quality, service delivery, and cost performance.
- Identifying, implementing, and maintaining process improvement to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Coordinating supply chain operational activities across the market including inventory optimizations, savings initiatives, and team development.
- Assisting with evaluating past performance data to properly forecast needs.
- Managing and overseeing daily metrics including inbound/outbound receiving, par replenishment, storeroom turns to ensure customer service is delivered on a daily basis to all locations/units.
- Working with all levels of management, physicians, and vendors effectively to educate and bring together procurement practices.
- Ensuring a cost effective operation by assisting with appropriate budget preparation, monitoring, and controlling of associated department expenses.
- Identifying and implementing methods for reducing operational expenditures of both supply and equipment.
- Assisting with management of resources and expenses used within budgetary guidelines.
- Providing accurate and timely information for departmental budgets.
- Assisting with processed and procedures to align with company and regulatory requirements.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
