The Manager Contract Management role requires an in-depth understanding of Contract Management concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related disciplines. The Manager Contract Management must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the Contract Management discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager Contract Management impacts the level of service and the Contract Management team's ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan should guide decisions made by the Manager Contract Management. The Manager Contract Management manages professional employees and supervisors and is accountable for the performance and results of the Contract Management group. The role will address resource and operational challenges by appropriately adapting departmental plans and priorities.
