SAIC’s Business Management Contracts & Procurement Team represents the full depth and breadth of the acquisition value chain – from the sell side (customer engagement and strategy development) to the buy side (program execution, strategic alliances, supply chain management and subcontractor development). Our dynamic team of acquisition professionals support SAIC’s key business areas and enterprise growth strategy. This is an onsite position in Chantilly, VA. SAIC’s Contracts & Procurement organization is seeking an experienced and highly adaptable leader to support its Space & National Intelligence Business Group (BG). This position will support bid strategy and contract execution, focusing on initiatives that drive growth for the organization. Position Description: The position will be responsible leading and overseeing high complexity and strategic contracts within the BG that may also include strategic proposal. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to influence and guide the team through contractual, legal and complex issues while possessing the following skillset: Client facing and have key role in building trusted relationships with client counterparts, represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners/customers and interact with senior executive leadership of the Business Group. Ability to resolve highly complex issues, develop negotiating strategies and provide creative solutions. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Periodic travel to support to other SAIC and customer locations. The manager will report directly to the SIBG Business Enablement VP and will be responsible for escalating issues and concerns.
