About The Position

Contracts Manager The Opportunity: With us you'll leverage your experience in contracts management and join the Booz Allen Global Defense Sector Contracts Team where you’ll be a trusted business advisor and partner in a growing account focused on solving some of the nation's most critical missions with cutting-edge solutions that meet the future head-on. You will act as the primary interface with government and industry customers as you work closely with expert teams across Booz Allen’s enterprise organization, including business development, legal, pricing, and global supply, where collective ingenuity is mastered to provide advice and support to program management teams and senior leaders. In this role, you will support all phases of the acquisition lifecycle where your expertise in contracts management will serve as the catalyst to identify, manage, and mitigate risk. Your knowledge will be applied to strategic discussions for future contract opportunities and competitive proposals, analysis of solicitations and teaming agreements, negotiation, and contract management. Requirements

  • Experience with contract pre-proposal efforts, RFP or RFQ support, proposal support and submission, or post-award contract administration
  • Experience with different contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time and Materials, or Incentive Fee contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines
  • HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with contract management, or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with contract management
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly with industry or government procurement officials
  • Experience supporting program management teams or senior leaders
  • Ability to interpret federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Ability to communicate with teams on intellectual property protection, organizational conflicts of interest, and sensitive data protection
  • Master’s degree
  • NCMA Professional Certification such as CCMA, CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM Certification
