About The Position

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Contracts Manager for pharmacy. This role provides contracting expertise to draft, interpret, and negotiate quality, minimal risk contracts for BJC Health System. The ideal applicant will have a background in end-to-end contracting, including redlining agreements. BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis, southern Illinois and southeast Missouri regions. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• <2 years experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

• Background in end to end contracting including red lining agreements.
• 2-5 years experience

Responsibilities

• With support from BJC attorneys and Senior/Lead Contract Managers negotiate or renegotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions with third parties.
• Manage the Sourcing portfolio expiring contracts calendar and new contract requests overseeing the compliance of contracts within company policies and all contractual processes and actions.
• Draft, interpret, and evaluate contract language with minimal deviation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align on timelines, deliverables, approvals, etc.
