About The Position

As a lead Contracts Manager, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your advanced contract management expertise to our National Security Sector (NSS) Cyber Contracts team, where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company. On our team, you’ll use your advanced contracting knowledge to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts within various markets. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies. As a trusted business partner, you’ll provide full lifecycle support with a focus on terms and conditions negotiation, white paper and proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation for Other Transaction (OT) prototype and follow-on production contracts or agreements. You'll provide expert advice and counsel to account executives and their program leadership on contractual matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest, risk management, mitigation, and intellectual property negotiations, and monitor operational performance. Additionally, you'll support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with contract administration
  • Experience in negotiations or proposal preparation supporting government or commercial
  • Knowledge of the usage of Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO) or Other Transactions (OTs)
  • Ability to support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • Ability to provide training to account teams on the unique characteristics of OTs
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience executing Other Transactions (OTs), including OTs for Prototypes and OTs transitioning into Production
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • NCMA Professional Certification
