About The Position

The position of Contracts Manager in the Law Department is a lead for Account Agreements Development. The Contracts Manager will work with various business areas to ensure appropriate task assignment and completion and, working directly with leadership, will oversee the majority of project implementations end-to-end to ensure that contract language is in compliance with operational requirements and all applicable health insurance laws and regulations. This position is eligible for the Flex persona.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in contract administration, including product development and implementation.
Collaborative, problem solving approach with an openness to change.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet aggressive timelines; ability to understand corporate priorities, work to those goals and assign tasks to analysts as needed.
Strong consultative skills with solution-oriented resolutions; positive attitude and a proven team player who can collaborate while respectfully raising opposing ideas.
High school degree or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience, or experience leading cross functional projects preferred.
Experience in health care issues, HIPAA, and/or data privacy and security as related to contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the end-to-end management and maintenance of account agreements and amendments, including the ongoing coordination, development, and implementation of new language to support corporate initiatives, segment goals, and financial requirements.
Work closely with Legal and Underwriting to ensure that all pieces of the agreement, including any exhibits, follow internal protocols.
Development and ongoing maintenance of legally compliant account agreements and amendments for all financial arrangements; ensuring that all account agreement contract language is in compliance with operational requirements and health insurance laws and regulations.
Working with the Contracts Delivery team to ensure that all accounts have finalized a binding agreement with the company.
Working with the Contracts Delivery Manager to ensure that any new boilerplate language and/or amendments are finalized timely to enable the Contracts Delivery Team to issue annual account agreement renewals and/or account agreement amendments.
Oversee and manage “big picture” requirements for annual account agreement changes and drive results towards key deliverables and ensure milestones are met.
Participate in the implementation of new products, product changes, and corporate initiatives with a specific focus on determining any account agreement impacts.
Coordinate and oversee corporate and department projects and initiatives and ensure milestones are met.
Support additional legal work as directed Law Department attorneys on an as needed basis.
Work with leadership to define strategic direction, goals, and objectives of the business unit; act in a lead role representing the department on cross-functional teams or initiatives.
