About The Position

The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is designed to accelerate the development and career of highly-motivated recent college graduates, or existing BAE Systems employees who’ve just started their own professional journey, who aspire to achieve their leadership potential. This is accomplished through challenging and rewarding rotational assignments, technical and leadership training, advanced education, leadership opportunities and exposure, and mentorship. The BAE Systems Contracts Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is actively recruiting. Rotations will start in June 2027. Our mission is to cultivate professionals within the Contracts Management organization who are 'action oriented', will lead effective change, and promote innovation within BAE Systems. The program is a 36-month, entry-level, “career launch” program designed to build a strong business skills foundation for a successful career in Contracts. As a CLDP participant, you will gain experience through three, 12-month rotations, gaining exposure to different business areas, facilities, and managers. Rotations correlate with major DoD program lifecycle phases, including R&D, EMD, Production and Sustainment, as well as Commercial and Contract Operations options. The program emphasizes mobility, requiring participants to work in at least two different geographic locations. BAE Systems offers tuition assistance for graduate school and provides in-house training focused on Contracts Management and Business Acumen.
