The Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) Product Line is a fast-paced agile group within the Countermeasure and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area. ISS has a need for an experienced Contracts Director to lead the portfolio of programs, some of which are classified at both SAP and TS levels. ISS leverages EO/IR technology to advance aircraft, ground vehicle, and maritime protection by enhancing crew response time, survivability, and mission success. We are home to products and programs like the Common Missile Warning Systems (CMWS), Rapid Optical Observation & Kill (ROOK), and are developing the next generation EO/IR sensor for Long Range Threat Warning. ISS customers are both direct to the Government and Prime Contractors with a mix of Development, Production and Sustainment type contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related experience.
  • Excellent presentation, team building and leadership skills, with the ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment.
  • Ability to effect and manage change.
  • Motivational and visionary leadership skills, including the ability to recognize and develop emerging leadership talent.
  • Experienced in the entire life cycle of prime and subcontract contracting, from proposal phase to contract closeout.
  • Well versed in the following types of contracts: Commercial, DOD Cost type, Firm Fixed Price, T&M, and Services Contracts.
  • Fluent with FAR, DFAR.
  • At least 5 years of managing and developing contracting professionals; preferably experience in managing other contract managers.
  • Excellent writing skills a must, with a clear understanding of contract formation principles.
  • Ability to pass a Special Background Investigation.
  • Position requires at least a Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities
