Requirements

  • Ability to meticulously review contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards, ensuring high-quality, accurate documentation before processing.
  • Skilled in accurately entering high volumes of data into contract management and CRM systems, with a focus on maintaining data integrity. Able to work efficiently at scale while preserving precision and consistency.
  • Competence in interpreting contractual terms and conditions, identifying key information for reporting and validation, and recognizing inconsistencies or ambiguities. Demonstrates curiosity, judgment, and the ability to learn contract concepts quickly.
  • Familiarity with CLM systems and CRM software, with the ability to navigate and utilize these tools effectively. Strong overall technology aptitude, including comfort learning new systems, using advanced search and reporting functionality, working with spreadsheets, and leveraging approved AI-enabled tools to improve contract operations.
  • Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly to increase efficiency, improve quality control, extract and organize information, identify potential issues, and support reporting and analysis. Understands that AI output must be verified and that confidentiality, privilege, privacy, and company policy requirements must be followed at all times.
  • Proficiency in generating reports, analyzing contractual data, and validating information in agreements to support accurate and timely reporting. Able to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize a high volume of contracts and associated tasks, maintaining an organized workflow to meet deadlines. Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, adjust quickly to changing business needs, and maintain accountability under pressure.
  • Hard-working, reliable, self-motivated, and disciplined, with a strong desire to learn, improve, and deliver measurable results.
  • Quick learner with the curiosity and initiative to understand contract processes, business context, systems, policies, and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders, clarify contract details, and support the contract management process. Able to communicate issues clearly, escalate appropriately, and work constructively with Legal, Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • College level education required.

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal, law clerk or similar experience and education is a bonus.
  • Experience with contract operations, CLM systems, CRM platforms, data validation, reporting, legal operations, or technology-enabled contracting processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of contract documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Legal Department standards prior to obtaining signatures. Apply sound judgment to identify issues, inconsistencies, missing information, and deviations from approved templates, playbooks, policies, or process requirements.
  • Proven ability to sustained, high-volume contract review workloads without compromising accuracy, data integrity, or review quality. Maintain focus, discipline, and consistency while managing multiple contracts, urgent requests, and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Accurately input contract details into the contract lifecycle management (CLM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, ensuring all relevant data fields are complete, accurate, and properly categorized. Demonstrate strong ownership of data quality, including the ability to identify gaps, correct errors, and escalate issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update the CLM database, ensuring all information is current and aligned with executed agreements. Support ongoing improvements to contract intake, tracking, metadata standards, workflow efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Regularly validate key information within existing agreements, generating reports and analyzing data to support organizational objectives and ensure data consistency. Use CLM, CRM, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and AI-enabled tools, where appropriate and approved, to support faster review, structured analysis, trend identification, and operational insights.
  • Detect and report discrepancies, incomplete information, or other issues within contracts to the relevant team members for resolution. Exercise curiosity and persistence in resolving inconsistencies, understanding root causes, and helping prevent recurring errors.
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and other relevant teams to clarify contract terms, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with regulatory and policy requirements. Communicate clearly, professionally, and with appropriate urgency when coordinating across teams.
  • Maintain organized records of all reviewed contracts, amendments, and correspondence, supporting an accessible and well-maintained archive of contract documentation. Ensure documentation is complete, searchable, audit-ready, and aligned with internal retention, approval, and governance requirements.
  • Use technology effectively to improve speed, accuracy, consistency, and visibility across contract operations. Demonstrate AI fluency, including the ability to use approved AI tools responsibly for contract summarization, issue spotting, data extraction, workflow support, quality checks, and process improvement, while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and appropriate human review.
  • Take ownership of assigned work, follow through on commitments, meet deadlines, and demonstrate the discipline and persistence required to deliver high-quality results in a demanding, high-volume environment.
